Hotel recommendation in Ibiza: Hotel Argos on Playa Talamanca

Hotel Argos Ibiza We have been flying to Ibiza for over 19 years, mostly in May and September. Again and again we are asked which hotel etc. We can recommend if you want to stay in Ibiza for one to two weeks. After staying at the hotels Simbad, Victoria, Ses Figueres, Grupotel Santa Eularia and Hostal Talamanca, the choice was made of the Hotel Argos right on Playa Talamanca about 17 years ago. Why? 1. There is always a free parking space on site. 2. Directly opposite the hotel is a small SPAR supermarket (cog). 3. Hotel ARGOS offers free Wi-Fi in (almost) all rooms. 4. Own freshwater pool, wind-protected with free loungers and towels (deposit). 5. Own beach right next to the hotel (partly in the shade in the afternoon). 6. Rooms with sea views with great sunrise and views of mountains, sea and Talamanca Bay. 7. Good connection to the old town (without a car) with the boat ferry at Botafoch port or on foot (approx. 2 km). 8. Playa Talamanca Beach and the surrounding area is good for jogging. 9. Many restaurants on Playa Talamanca. Tip: Cafe Flotante-typical Spanish cuisine. 10. In the evening you can also relax on the hotel beach and Playa Talamanca. 11. Car rental right in front of the hotel. 12. Playa Talamanca beach is one of the best and longest beaches on the island. 13. You can quickly walk at the Puerto Marina Botafoch with its restaurants and cafes. 14th. You have to use little the car, because a lot in the immediate vicinity. 15th. Pacha, Lio, Blue Marlin Marina, Calma, Cappuccino Cafe, etc. Easily and quickly accessible on foot. 16. The Hotel ARGOS is very central and you can quickly drive anywhere on the island. 17th. The rooms were completely renovated in 2012 and are decorated in modern white. But Hotel Argos also has a few drawbacks, if you can even call them that: 1. At the buffet, unfortunately, nothing is freshly prepared at dinner or breakfast by an extra chef or cook. (Here goes the point to the Hotel Simbad) 2nd. In the pre-and postseason, the audience is predominantly older, but it also has its advantages in terms of rest. There are certainly better and nicer hotels in Ibiza, but we just feel most at home at Hotel Argos. In the meantime, you already know some other regulars and the contact with the hotel staff-whether in the restaurant or at the reception-is also very nice and familiar. Most German and English also speak very well. Address, directions, reviews and other photos:
